Reservation Management Technologies (ResMT) is pleased to announce that it's Reservations Booking and Tour Operations system 'Ticket To' is to be made available to tourism operators worldwide.

Ticket To, previously a proprietary system for exclusive use by the Down Under Group, is now to be made available for purchase by any tourism operators.

Ticket To has always been developed on Best-Of-Breed technologies, particularly with a focus on a Microsoft infrastructure.  Version 4.0 of Ticket To continues on this heritage, and is taking advantage of the latest in Microsoft technologies.  In particular Ticket To v4.0 will be developed utilising

• Microsoft .net Framework version 3.5
  • New user interface taking advantage of Windows Presentation Foundations (WPF)
  • Centralised Application Server performing communications via Windows Communication Foundations (WCF)
  • Websites and Portals developed utilising ASP.net 3.5 and AJAX
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008
• Microsoft Window Server 2003 / 2008

Ticket To v4.0 will move to a fully n-Tier architecture and is taking advantage of the Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) for interoperability between Ticket To's Windows Desktop client application, and integration a number of tourism wholesalers and tourdesks with 'live XML feeds'.

With the current development underway, it is anticipated that V4.0 will be available generally by the end of 2010.  As with all previous versions of Ticket To, extensive production-scale testing will occur throughout the operations of the Down Under Group (http://www.downundergroup.com.au) and selected tourism operators and agents.
